Under the leadership of Chief of Police, Bill Abbott and Assistant
Chief of Police, Craig Hayes, the department has a force of 39 sworn police officers, 10 telecommunications officers, 3 clerical
staff members, 1 parking attendant, 1 animal control officer, and 1 crossing guard. Of the 39 sworn officers, 1 officer is
assigned as a School Resource Officer, 3 are assigned as DARE officers, 3 K-9 officers, and 6 are assigned
to Criminal Investigations, with 2 of the 6 assigned full-time to drug investigations.
