FIREARMS PERMIT

The State of Indiana has started a system to apply online for a firearms permit.  You are required to fill out the online permit.  Click on the link to proceed with the online firearms permit. Once you have completed the form online you will be told to come to the Seymour Police Department to pay your fees and continue with the process.

The local fees are,

Cash,Money Order, or Certified Check

(NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED)

4 year hunting and target permit..............................   $10.00

4 year personal protection permit..............................  $10.00

Lifetime hunting and target, no current license...........  $50.00

Lifetime hunting and target, current license................  $40.00

Lifetime personal protection,no current license...........  $50.00

Lifetime personal protection, current license...............  $40.00

Once the online application is completed, you must come to the Seymour Police Department before the end of 30 days.
