EVENT INFORMATION

Derby cars must be in the pits by 11:00am
Judging of cars will begin at 11:00am
3 Lane race from a starting ramp
Winner to proceed to next heat
Helmet & Gloves REQUIRED
All cars must fit on a 4x8 sheet of plywood
Cars must weigh less than 176lbs (not including rider)
Cars must have steering and functional brakes
Cars must not have poor taste advertising (ex. – Tobacco or Alcohol Products)
No artificial means of propulsion allowed. (ex. – pedals, chains, small engines, batteries, etc.)
Sliding weights allowed if overall car weighs less than 176lbs without a driver.
Rain-out date will be September 21st @ 1:00pm
Pits are located on the west side of the Jackson County Public Library (303 W 2^nd St, Seymour, IN 47274)
Pit Passes sold the day of the event

Entry Fee

The initial entry fee is $20.00 per driver for one race in a category. Each additional category is $10.00 per driver per category. You may enter more than one category.

Family entry fee is $60.00. (Mom, Dad, and Children)

Pit passes are $2.00 per person. People with pit passes will judge the cars in categories such as creativity, best engineered, most original, best paint, and crowd favorite.
